Pre-owned Dior

Dior is the house you recognise by its quilting. Cannage stitching, the letter charms on the handle and the curved saddle flap read as Dior from across a room, on an older bag and a newer one alike, and those same signatures are what you are looking for in every category Kove carries from the house.

• Bags. The bags run from a daytime tote to a small flap bag for the evening, and most of them put the cannage and the charms on your arm where they can be seen.
• Clothing. The ready-to-wear is for you if you want the Dior cut on your shoulders without a logo announcing it.

Check the hardware first on a Dior bag. Plating on the letter charms, and on the rings that hold them, thins with every knock against a table edge or a car door, so a bag that has been carried often shows it there. Look at the edges of each letter and the inside of each ring, where the base metal comes through first. Then look for pulled cannage threads along a seam and rubbed corners, so you read the charms and the leather together.
