Who is responsible for your data

Distril LLC, which runs Kove Luxury (koveluxury.com and kove.cr), 1021 East Lincolnway, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001, United States. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].

What we collect

  • When you buy: your name, email, phone and shipping address; the piece, the amounts, the dates and the terms you accepted. Your card details go straight to Stripe. Kove never sees your card number and never stores it.
  • When you write to us by email or WhatsApp: your name, your address or number, and whatever you tell us.

We do not ask for sensitive data.

What we use it for

We use it to take the payment or deposit, buy and inspect the piece, ship it to you, send you order emails (confirmation, balance, delivery), answer your questions, handle refunds and disputes, and meet our tax and legal obligations. Without this data we cannot sell you the piece.

We may also send you news, new pieces and offers from Kove by email. That is not needed for your purchase. If you do not want it, tell us now or at any time by writing to [email protected] with the subject "Unsubscribe". Every news email says how to stop them.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that do the work for us, and only what each one needs:

  • Stripe, for payments.
  • Google and Nylas, for our email.
  • Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site.
  • Contabo, where our servers run.
  • Meta, if you write to us on WhatsApp.
  • The courier, which gets your name, address and phone to deliver the piece.

We never give your details to the shop we buy the piece from. The piece comes to Kove first and we ship it to you ourselves. We do not sell your data. We hand it to an authority only when the law requires it.

Some of these companies, and our servers, are in the United States or other countries, so your data may be stored or processed outside the country you are in.

How long we keep it

Order records for as long as tax and accounting law and the deadlines for refunds and card disputes require. Messages that did not lead to a purchase, until we no longer need them to answer you. Then we delete them.

Your rights

Under Costa Rica's Law 8968 you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, and withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected] from the email you used with us, saying what you want and, if you have one, your order reference. We answer within the time the law sets. If you are not satisfied, you can go to the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB).

Cookies

We only use the cookies the site needs to work, for your session, form security and language. Cloudflare may set one of its own for security. No advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version goes on this page with its date.
