If you have a piece and want to know what a third party says about it, we send it for verification and hand you the full report, exactly as the laboratory issues it.

What we do and what we do not do

We do not authenticate anything. We have no laboratory, we issue no reports and we do not say whether a piece is authentic. What we do is take it to a specialised external service, pay for its analysis and hand you its result unaltered.

The report is in the laboratory's name, not ours. If you ever need to defend it to a buyer, an insurer or a platform, their document is what counts.

How it works

   You write to us with photos of the piece and we confirm whether the laboratory covers that brand and that type of item.

   You get it to us, or bring it by appointment in San José.

3. 03

   The laboratory examines it and issues its report.

   We hand you the full document together with the piece.

What the report can say

It can confirm the piece, or fail to confirm it. When a service cannot confirm it, the result says exactly that: not identified. It does not say 'fake', and neither will we on its behalf. An analysis is a technical opinion on what could be examined, not a verdict.

The fee covers the analysis, not the result. If the piece is not confirmed, the laboratory has still done its work and the cost is not refunded. We would rather say so before you pay.

What can be verified

Bags and leather goods from the major houses are what is covered best. Footwear, clothing and accessories can be verified in some cases, depending on the brand. Before you send anything we tell you whether that specific piece qualifies, because no house is covered one hundred percent.

If you want to sell it to us

If what you want is to sell the piece, verification is the first step and is at your expense, as above. With the report in hand we tell you what we can offer or whether we can place it. Without a report we neither buy nor list. The same rule for everyone.
